Water - a vital nerve for existence
Every day, 6000 children are dieing due to poor water quality and sanitary conditions. More than
1.1 billions are without the supply of clean water and a secure and continous source of water.

Pollution, change in climateand the increase of population combined with the galloping consume
due to a higher standard of life, are all factors making a pressure on the water supply. In Bangladesh,
the ground water is contaminated from arsenic and sewers, causing illness and desease of millions.

Close to 90 % of the sewer and 70% of the industrial dispose in the un-developed countries,
are dispoed without any kind of treatment, often directly into the freshwater supply.
